Feedback on the Multiple Choice Test (MCT) sat on 6 July 2011

 

  • On this occasion the pass mark was set at 58%. For details of how the pass mark is set please refer to the Kaplan QLTS Marking and Moderation Policy
  • The pass rate for the MCT was 51%
  • On the whole the cohort did best on questions on tort. (QLTS Part A Learning Outcome A6). Questions on business structures (QLTS Part A Learning Outcomes A11) and professional conduct (QLTS Part A Learning Outcome A3) were also done well.
  • The weakest area was solicitors' accounts. (QLTS Part A Learning Outcome A3). Questions on property law were also not answered well (QLTS Part A Learning Outcome A8).
