Feedback on the TLST sat June 2011

• The pass mark for the TLST was 58%. For details of how the pass mark is set please refer to the Kaplan QLTS Marking and Moderation Policy
• The pass rate for the TLST was 75%

The small numbers of people sitting the OSCE and TLST in June 2011 mean that it is not possible to give much useful generic feedback. However, in general, candidates did much better on the OSCE than the TLST. On the whole the cohort's strongest areas were interviewing and advising and advocacy/oral presentations. The weakest areas were legal research, legal writing and legal drafting.
